Welcome to Bright Sun Candles. We create
candles of excellent quality and ingredients, that are
also naturally-beautiful and environmentally
friendly. Bright Sun Candles are
hand-poured in St. Paul, Minnesota from the wax of
American-grown soybeans. Our candles are scented
with only essential oils. We use no artificial
scents and no dyes or artificial colors. Like all
soy wax candles, our candles are clean &
long-burning and made from a natural wax that is a
renewable resource. We invite you to
experience the natural beauty of Bright Sun
Candles.

Recycling: Beyond the
Curbside
Many
of us struggle with throwing things out, knowing
that they'll spend an eternity buried in a
landfill. We can recycle paper,
glass and many plastics conveniently at the
curb on trash day, but what else can be reused?
Many companies have made it possible to recycling
more off-beat items; putting them to new use.
Tennis/Athletic Shoes
Shoes wear out, kids feet grow bigger and
your dog only chews on the left shoe. You've
probably got several pairs of athletic shoes you
don't wear anymore. Recycle them! Nike has a great
program in place that uses every part of your old
shoe for new purposes. Send your old shoes
off to be made into new running tracks,
tennis courts and playground mats. http://www.nikereuseashoe.com/

Carpet
We're not going to argue that the blue shag
carpeting has to go, but be particular about
where it goes. Several vendors will take carpeting
back so it can also be broken down and reused.
Check here to find a vendor near you http://www.carpetrecovery.org/waste.php
