Welcome to Bright Sun Candles. We create
candles of excellent quality and ingredients, that are
also naturally-beautiful and environmentally
friendly. Bright Sun Candles are
hand-poured in St. Paul, Minnesota from the wax of
American-grown soybeans. Our candles are scented
with only essential oils. We use no artificial
scents and no dyes or artificial colors. Like all
soy wax candles, our candles are clean &
long-burning and made from a natural wax that is a
renewable resource. We invite you to
experience the natural beauty of Bright Sun
Candles.
Sincerely,

The Joy of Soy
on Valentine's
Day
Chocolate and flowers
are very traditional Valentine's Day
gifts. Do something original this year for the one
you love. Get your valentine a Soy Massage
candle!
Soy candles are made
with a natural vegetable wax that melts at a
much lower temperature than parrafin candles.
This melted wax can be poured on and massaged into
the skin.
Light the candle to set the mood and let
some of the wax melt. Blow out the wick and use
the melted wax as a moisturizing and sensual
massage oil.
Any Bright Sun Candles can be used for a
massage candle. Whether you use an scented or
unscented candle, this romantic experience will
not be forgotten by your sweetie.

Aromatherapy 101
Bright Sun Candles
use only
high-quality, therapeutic essential
oils. Our essential oils are great for their
aromatherapy benefits.
Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy that uses
pure essential oils to positively influence the
mind and body and to enhance emotional and
physical well-being. Essential oils are highly
concentrated extracts from the aromatic part of
the plant. They are wholly natural molecular
substances, which when inhaled are transmitted to
the part of the brain that controls memory and
emotional response.
Aromatherapy Oil of the Month:
Peppermint has a penetrating,
grassy, mint odor. Invigorating &
revitalizing, peppermint oil helps aid in
concentration.

Green Home Living
Tip
Little
things we do can make a big impact on the
environment.
Washing your car is an important part of car
maintenance. Is there a way to be green when it
comes to car washes? If you use professional car
washes, the answer is yes.
In 1972, the government established the
Clean Water Act, which mandated professional car
washes to pipe dirty water to treatment facilities
or into state-approved drainage facilities.
Washing your car at home pollutes the
environment - soap and road grime such as oils,
tar and dirt washed from your car ends up in storm
sewers that flow into lakes, streams and rivers.
In fact, many North American cities have even
banned charity car-washing events, which result in
soapy discharge and wasted water.
Another consideration is this: a
professional car wash uses about 32 gallons of
water per car. Studies have shown that a 45-minute
car wash at home can use more than 300 gallons of
water. Think about that the next
time you watch the automatic scrubbers
take the grime off your car.
