Order Bright Sun Candles

Welcome to Bright Sun Candles.  We create candles of excellent quality and ingredients, that are also naturally beautiful and environmentally friendly.

Bright Sun Candles are hand-poured in Saint Paul, Minnesota from the wax of American-grown soybeans.  Our candles are scented with only essential oils.  We use no artificial scents and no dyes or artificial colors.  Like all soy wax candles, our candles are clean & long-burning and made from a natural wax that is a sustainable resource.

We invite you to experience the natural beauty of Bright Sun Candles.

Sincerely,

Megan & Adam Tetz

Aromatherapy Oil of the Month: Spearmint

Spearmint is a sweet, minty-smelling oil. Stimulating, it helps with mental fatigue and is invigorating.

Green Home Living Tip of the Month

So you already buy your produce at the local farmers market, remember your reusable bags from your trunk and are converting your light bulbs to CFL's?

Here are a few more ideas that were new to us and may be to you also. Any step, even a small one, that leaves a smaller imprint on our world is a positive one:

Throwplace

Sort of like Freecycle, but non-profits can also register for stuff that's ready to give away.

Egg Cartons

Most small chicken/egg farmers will gladly take used egg cartons to recycle. Want to know where your nearest farmer's market is?  Check out

Reuse Plastic Bags

They're good to reuse, but washing them in the sink can be a pain. New idea, toss them in the dishwasher to clean them for their next use.

Make Your Own Reusable Bag

Got an old t-shirt?  Simply turn the t-shirt inside out and stich along the bottom hem. Now turn that t-shirt back and cut along the arm holes. You now have a one of a kind grocery shopping bag that will put those plastic grocery bags to shame.

If you have other suggestions, email us or post them on our Facebook page.
