Order Bright Sun Candles

Welcome to Bright Sun Candles.  We create candles of excellent quality and ingredients, that are also naturally-beautiful and environmentally friendly.

Bright Sun Candles are hand-poured in St. Paul, Minnesota from the wax of American-grown soybeans.  Our candles are scented with only essential oils.  We use no artificial scents and no dyes or artificial colors.  Like all soy wax candles, our candles are clean & long-burning and made from a natural wax that is a renewable resource.

We invite you to experience the natural beauty of Bright Sun Candles.

 Sincerely,

Megan & Adam Tetz

Travel Candles

Let's face it, hotel rooms don't smell great. Don't get me wrong, the hotels try very hard to give you a clean and fresh room. The room gets cleaned every day but it's difficult to get rid of those daily odors from left-over room service, cleaning chemicals or the pool down the hall.  Next time you're on the road, consider bringing a travel candle. Travel candles are a great way to freshen your temporary living space and make it feel more like home.

Bright Sun Candles has a wide variety of travel candles that are an essential for traveling. The compact tin fits in even small suitcases and the fitted lid keeps everything nice and neat.

Light the candle when you're ready to relax in your room and let the soft light of the candle soothe you. Breathe in the aromatic essential oils to help you relax and even sleep better in your temporary living quarters.

Happy Travels!

Green Home Living Tip

Little things we do can make a big impact on the environment.

Make a non-toxic home cleaning kit.

Reach for this non-toxic tool kit made from simple materials as your first line of defense against everyday household dirt.

Here is a list of materials that you probably have in your home. Label the containers and put them together in a single bucket, basket or dishpan so they are readily available.  Ready access in one location is convenient and reinforces good habits.

*  Baking soda for cleaning sinks, tubs, and toilets and for freshening drains.

*  Vinegar in a pump spray bottle for mirrors and shining chrome. For cleaning windows, use vinegar or soap and water and dry with rags or a squeegee.

*  Plant-based detergents for cleaning countertops in the kitchen, bathroom or office, tile, fixtures, appliances and walls.  Murphy's Oil Soap is vegetable based, for example.  Look for cleaners that disclose all of their ingredients.

*  Rags and non-scratch sponges for all-purpose cleaning. You don't need throwaway towels made from bleached paper.

*  Vegetable oil with lemon juice makes a good furniture polish.

*  Borax is a simple laundry detergent that can be used along with "washing soda" to clean clothes.
